HILLA Bag – Tundra Multicolour Seatbelt Bag

HILLA Tundra is a multicolour handbag with a surface hand-woven in Finland from B-grade seatbelt webbing. The recognisable look of seatbelt webbing turns into a three-dimensional surface in the weave, and the material's history stays visible as part of the bag's character.

The glossy material reflects light differently from the different directions of the weave. In multicolour, that means the bag's look is never flat: the shades shift and deepen depending on where you look at it from and how it moves.

Despite its compact size, HILLA is surprisingly roomy. The bag comes along in everyday life, through the workday or out around town.

Short handles plus an adjustable, detachable shoulder strap turn one bag into three: a handbag, a shoulder bag and a crossbody bag. Inside there is a lining made from surplus fabric and a small zipped pocket, and the bag closes with a sturdy metal zip.

What fits in the HILLA bag?

The HILLA bag comfortably fits an A5-sized notebook, a small water bottle and other everyday essentials. The inner pocket holds a card holder and keys, or sunglasses, for example.
